Poet, essayist, and critic, Christian Campbell came to the University of Pittsburgh as part of the Center for African American Poetry and Poetics' artist-in-residency program, Dream Space. His talk, "Erasing Basquiat," included research done at the Andy Warhol Museum, his presentation focused on coded language and images, intersectionality, and artistic representations of self in the artwork of Jean Michel Basquiat.
